Reviewing Basic Invite’s Wedding Invitation Printing
In your wedding planning process very soon you’ll begin to search for wedding invitations. Our friends over at Basic Invite requested that I do a review of their wedding invitation printing. This is a sponsored post, all opinions are my own.
Who is Basic Invite?
Basic Invite has tons of features that may move you to get them involved very early in your wedding planning process. First, they offer free wedding websites. They’re super easy to use and mobile friendly. When you’re friends look up your wedding details they’ll be able to find a convenient map with directions to your wedding. This just simplifies the wedding invitation process and makes inviting your guest effortless.
You may be wondering about the cards you’ll be mailing out. They have almost unlimited colors you can preview online, and you can change the color of each element on a card. This makes your invitations completely customizable down to the littlest detail. This is what sets them apart from any other online stationery company, and why many brides choose Basic Invite. Also they have 40 different colored envelopes to choose from. Oh and yes, you can order a printed sample so you can feel the paper quality before submitting the final order.
Also before we get to my personal review you need to hear about the invitation sets. They have OVER 900!! Each wedding invitation is part of a set, which is all the stationary you need for your wedding. (Such as: save the dates, enclosure cards, wedding menus, wedding programs) This keeps your wedding as part of a theme, everything will match. This is probably my favorite aspect of Basic Invite, because I love everything to match and carry a theme.
Besides all that, they have one incredible feature that makes inviting your guest completely automated and effortless. Send all your friends a link via social media, or email, then it collects their addresses and prints them on the envelopes for you. All you have to do is seal the envelop add postage and send away. Talk about a breeze!
Reviewing the flower wedding invitations
Basic invite has a collection of flower wedding invitations that I’d like to review. They were kind enough to send me a few for free so I could see them and feel them in person to let you know what your getting before even signing up.
First the sketch floral seal and send wedding invitation. (See below) It has a nice glossy feel, and the design is very simple and formal. It’s not super busy, and kind of matches a more bright and airy wedding.
Like the previous, the engraved floral seal and send wedding invitation has a tear away card. Personally this one I like a little more. I love the very formal design. It’s elegant and the hand sketch flowers give it an artistic look. The paper is the “luxe velvet” and is silky smooth, and just feel luxurious! Of course the tear away card makes it easy to get a response from all your attendees.
They both come with stickers for you to seal the cards and mail them right away. It makes the whole invitation process easier.
Next is a floral heart invitation. The perl paper gives it a good finish, a nice shimmer as you can see in the picture. Of course you can customize these with any color you choose.
And finally the redwood forest wedding invitation. This one also has that luxurious feeling from the “lux velvet” paper, it also come in “smooth coated paper” if you wish to choose that. I added the “raised foil” feature which makes the gold accents pop. It adds a little texture to your card as well which makes it more tactile.
Honestly, all these cards are great depending on what you’re looking for. Personally I love the engraved floral seal and send wedding invitation, and the redwood forest wedding invitation but don’t take my word for it. Go on and get a sample and see for yourself!
